What Is Ceylon Bedding & Co.?
Ceylon Bedding & Co. stands for premium quality bedding. Authentic Ceylon Bedding & Co. products are known for their fine craftsmanship, rich materials, and luxurious comfort. True Ceylon Bedding & Co. products follow strict production, sourcing, and quality standards.

History
Ceylon Bedding & Co. draws on Sri Lanka's two-thousand-year weaving heritage. The island's artisan textile traditions — refined through centuries of trade with Egypt, Arabia, and Europe — form the foundation of everything we produce.
Our collections are woven at mills in Biyagama and the Kandy highlands, using the same hand-finishing techniques that Sri Lankan craftspeople have practised for generations, combined with modern OEKO-TEX and GOTS certified production processes.
From the long-staple Egyptian cotton fields of the Nile Delta to the bamboo forests of certified FSC suppliers, every fibre in a Ceylon Bedding & Co. collection is selected for its quality, sustainability, and exceptional feel.

Why Ceylon Bedding & Co. Is Different
Ceylon Bedding & Co. products are graded under a strict quality system that evaluates materials, texture, color, and craftsmanship. Only products that meet these standards qualify as authentic Ceylon Bedding & Co.

Fibre Origin Overview
Premium bedding fibres are sourced from a handful of globally recognised origins. Each origin's climate, soil, and centuries-old craft traditions shape the feel, durability and finish of the finished product.
| Origin | Material | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Nile Delta, Egypt | Egyptian Cotton | Extra-long-staple Gossypium barbadense — prized for its silken hand-feel, durability and signature lustrous finish. The benchmark of luxury cotton. |
| Flanders, Belgium | European Flax Linen | Pure flax woven into Belgian linen, certified by Masters of Linen™. Breathable, naturally temperature-regulating and softer with every wash. |
| Sichuan, China | Bamboo Lyocell | FSC-certified bamboo processed via the closed-loop lyocell route — hypoallergenic, moisture-wicking and exceptionally soft. |
| Sri Lanka | Hand-Finished Weaving | Our partner mills in Biyagama and Kandy add hand-finishing detail rooted in two thousand years of Ceylonese textile heritage. |

Our Certification Standards
Every product in the Ceylon Bedding & Co. collection carries at minimum OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification — independently verified to be free of over 100 potentially harmful substances.
Our bamboo and linen ranges additionally carry GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certification, covering the entire supply chain from farm to finished product — including fair labour conditions at every tier.
We publish certification numbers on every product page so you can verify them independently at the OEKO-TEX or GOTS certification databases.
